Really great tool! I use it with TTQV calibration. After creating the Pathaway maps I run the little program MapMaster (can be found at http://forum.pocketnavigation.de/thread.php?threadid=1034988) witch creates rectangles in Google Earth showing the map coverage together with the map name. The docu...

Will you really get higher res. with the plus version? I thought it was just that you could download larger images ....

I think it's kept like a "secret" to begin with.

I don't know if it's possible to extract the images. But I think the hybrid gives much better detail and contrast.

- Support Satellite/Hybrid modes.

I cannot find how to import a Google Earth (or Google maps) Satelite image. How is it done?

In map mode you press 1 for Map, 2 for Satellite and 3 for Hybrid. Then you click on "Get maps from the internet"

Great tool!

But ... it seems not to be able to make overview of all maps.
If a map is created with MapAway for example it will not find it as a map :(
Maybe someone who is good at java programming can look into it?

I think the easiest is to run a full installation. If you don't want to install the PDA files, simply remove them from the Install Tool (if you run Palm - I have no idea how it works with PPC)

Hi JKaplan! When I load your map in MapManager and click on Calibration I get Calibration Type: Projection. I see two calibration points: 2 and 4 with data that seems correct. Could the problem be the fact that you have used 2 and 4 instead of 1 and 2? I have not used MapManager much for calibration...

The same data base as last message, but now with the right icons (Scull and Bones)
It has been converted with PWDBConvert and edited.

The site is in Swedish, the database is downloaded in Garmin MapSource format and converted with GPSBabel.

If you have a program like Norton Internet Security it can block internet connections per program. When you first start a program a pop-up box appears and ask how you want this program to handle internet connections. Options are: Allways allow, Allow once, Block once, Allways block. If you have made...

I just tried it again - without problem.
Check if you have a firewall that will not allow the program to access internet?
