Even if installed on memory card there is a db in folder [PhoneMemory]Data/PathAway/PathAwayDBV. This DB seems to store all imported PointDBs, Tracks and Routes. Obviously there is no cleanup or compress mechanism. So even if you delete Tracks,Routes, Points it will grow and grow. A possible solutio...

Hello, you cannot change a track into a route. If you travelled and logged your way to a track and now want to go back the same route do the following: - Goto Data, Track and locate the track just recorded - mark it and in menu select "Follow - reverse" - Select goto starting point Now the track wor...

This is a common problem with some GPS Systems. In PathAway you can adjust it:
1. Preferences -> (Options)
2. Tracking
3. The last field is elevation correction where you add the difference.

My fault, it seems to use the same connection as selected for the internet browser. Standard would be "internet". Target internet has to be configured for WLAN and phone provider.

True, it worked with PathAway for Palm, but does not seem to work with Symbian edition.
Symbian is still one of the most deployed OS for mobiles, it should be supported similary to IOS and Win.

What data connection is used for web maps

Hi,
on my Nokia N95mini Web maps load without a glitch, when WLAN is connected. When travelling web maps are not loaded. Internet using GPRS or UMTS works.
I thought the latest version is more stable regarding web maps.
Is there a way to select which connection to use from PathAway?

German translations incorrect

German version:
Some menu items are not translated correctly (e.g. it says "show world map" but should be "show on map"). And it is english anyway.
Is there a way to contribute to correct translation files, I would love to help?

N97 mini

Yes, it looks nice, but davigating in the menus without hardkeys is a pain. You would'nt want to open the hardware keyboard while riding a bike.
If I would choose again I definitly choose a device with hardkeys and a "navigation cross button".

ETA and ETE does not work

It seems when following a Route, ETA and ETE display values which make sense only for a car. (Some minutes for 3 kilometers). Is there a way to adjust it like in proff version?
When using a track with timestamps, it works fine.

Path Away exits in some cases

Hi,
I found that Path Away exits (application completely closes) in the following cases:
- Mode Tools select dashboard, Selection (do not choose any new info like altitude, speed) press, back instead of choose button (Symbian)
- same as above but tap into anywhere in the map

Multiple data import

Hi Scott,
I'd really like to import more tracks and routes in just one step. It is a lot of taps to do it file by file. By chance I read it should import all files placed in C:\data\PathAway\Import. I tried so and started PathAway but nothing was imported????
