my route is all mangled

Greetings. This happened once before but resolved itself, but now it happened again, and I'm not sure what to do. I'm running 4.00.65 on my TX . I entered a new route called "reading" with 9 points. Some of the points I had to move up and down while entering the route. Now my "Direct to Distance" an...

PowerDigi

Greetings. I'm back, with a new TX and PathAway 4.00.51 Like many TX owners, my digitizer is starting to wander, and I have added PowerDigi http://www.palmpowerups.com/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=10 to the list of apps I cannot live without. Unfortunately, PathAway doesn't seem ...

write my own directions

Sometimes, the points in a GPS track don't quite match the actual driving directions. I would love for a way to add my own directions ("Bear left" or "Turn left then quick right") to an "intersection" point.

Thanks.

map manager -- edit (crop) maps?

Greetings. I have another program that creates PathAway maps, but the maps it creates are much too large (geographically) for my taste. I would love it if the PathAway Map Manager would allow me to open a map, chop off the top/bottom/left/right of the map, and maintain the calibration for the new ma...

I am very happy with the Globalsat BT328, a slightly older model which can be had for $100. I notice they have a BT328-MAC on sale for $75, but I can't imagine why a Bluetooth GPS would care if it's MAC or PC or Palm. Also, as far as I know, the GPS shouldn't care if you're in the US, Spain, or CND....

Vindicated!!!!!!! :D

Alas, I can't offer any more troubleshooting help. This past weekend, I twisted my ankle, fell down a flight of stairs, and landed on my PalmPilot.

But I hope it's fixed by the time I convince my wife to let me replace it.

zoom based on speed

Greetings. Please pardon my verbosity while I explain... I have a map with a View Range of 11 miles. Very handy while driving down the highway with no interest in the details of what's around me. I have a map with a View Range of 1.5 miles. It details the area around my friend's house. He lives clos...

Turning off the Proximity alarms resolved my issue. Thank you very much for your help and for the explanation.

If it does turn out to be your "alternate Home button app", the one I am using can be found here: http://www.mobile-stream.com/demos/txhmbtn.zip . That's the one I'm using, and turning it off didn't solve my problem. Let us know how you make out! :-) Absolutely no luck. But whatever it is, it seems...

Thanks for the info. I hvaen't tried re-installing yet, but I did erase all of my maps and preferences, and the problem still exists. I will try re-installing tonight. I have the same problem whether I use the menu button on the status bar, or the Pathaway arrow at the top of the screen. As far as "...

display adjoining maps together

Greetings. (from the Support forum, looking for support on a non-existent feature) Another GPS program I used to use had a nice feature. If you had a number of maps that were * stored on an external storage card * all in the same directory, such as /PALM/Programs/GPS/streetmaps that program would as...

display more than one map?

Greetings. I honestly don't remember if I had this feature in Pathaway or in another GPS program I used to use. But I seem to recall that, if two maps had about the same scale and covered contiguous areas, that both maps could be seen on the screen, instead of the white background. So either (*) I c...
