Preferences, Tracks (different types of tracking?)

Postby Sangroid » Sun Apr 29, 2007 4:08 pm

I would like the option to make different type of "trackrecordings". It makes a big difference wether I'm recording a track in my car or by foot.

I hope I made myself clear on this?

Options -> Preferences -> Tracking
Then you can set the timing of tracks. (ie 10 secs, 30 secs)

Is that what you mean?

That's one way. :)

But I'm sometimes puzzled 'bout what kind of timing I should use.

I think 1 minute is the best for hiking?

Hi Tom:

I guess I undesrtood what you are trying to do. Having different setup profiles to allow quick and simple switching between the optimal setups for the many different applications PA can be used for.

I would even extend the usage of profiles. It would be neat to have this not only for the tracking settings but also for the dash board and the sounds volume

Thanks

That's exactly what I was trying to ask!

I second that!

@Scott:
It's been a long time since we had really new features ;-). Profiles would be great and reliable alarms in pocket mode are really a must.

Are you already working on PW5.0?

Thanks Guenther
