Pathaway works on Windows Mobile 6.5

Postby bgoedel » Thu Dec 03, 2009 2:45 pm

I'm just searching for a new mobile phone which should be capable of running Pathaway as I want to have a decent GPS software usable in not-UMTS-covered areas.

My top choice would have been the Motorola Milestone but unfortunately there is no Pathaway port for Android (2.0) available (yet?).

Another interesting phone would be the Samsung B7610 which is running Windows Mobile 6.5. But I didn't find out whether Pathaway would run on this version of Windows Mobile.

Did anyone try already? Does anyone know?

Kind regards,
Bernhard

PathAway is running on Windows Mobile 6.5 devices. If there are any problems with it on 6.5, we'll fix them.

Yes it works like a charm on on my Toshiba TG01. But I do have to run GPSgate to gain a virtual gps port, (now it runs like a charm).

Hi,

PW5 looks fine on my new HD2. But I have 1 problem: When I try to export waypoints from TTQV4 to PW5, I only get the error message

QVError: 52
PWDBLIB.dll
Error to convert from ...\... .tmp to ...\Waypoints.pwp

I have no problems with the export to my Xperia X1 (WM6.1).

Can anybody help me?

BR
Chris

PW 5 Pro not working on Samsung OmniaII with WM 6.5

Since upgrading my OmniaII to WM 6.5 at the service center, PW5 Pro freezes on the startup splash screen. I have reinstalled it to no avail.
