Postby vodi » Thu Sep 01, 2011 12:58 am

How can I change a track into a route ?
I want to reverse a track and then use it as a route.
How can that be done?

you cannot change a track into a route. If you travelled and logged your way to a track and now want to go back the same route do the following:
- Goto Data, Track and locate the track just recorded
- mark it and in menu select "Follow - reverse"
- Select goto starting point
Now the track works like a "route", even better it will show time to go and arrival time.
You can use tracks from sombody else the same way for routing.

You don't have to change the track into a route. You just select a track and "Follow" it as your route.
So in Data->Tracks, select the Track then choose "Follow Forward or Reverse.

There is even a quick way using "BackTrack" (from the GPS menu).
BackTrack will turn you active track log into the route your following in reverse.
