Just got express on my iPhone!

So just got this express I want to do something as simple as go from Edmonton Alberta to barkerville bc and I can add points but not route anything! Followed all instructions and still doesn't work! I got this app mainly to go offroad on my motorbike. Any help would be greatly appreciated. When I got to points only allows me to "show on map" not route at all especially offroad!!

To navigate to a Point, Tap on the point on the map, then choose "Route" menu, "New Route". From the dialog choose "Navigate to Point".

We'll be adding other quick ways to navigate to a point from the "Points" dialog soon.

All it does is draw straight line does not map
Roads. Guess this wasn't what i thought it was.
