The combination of Touratech QV and PathAway provides you with a complete navigation solution. Acquire and prepare all your maps, create your routes, and edit your points, in Touratech QV. • Displays your own scanned in maps, or select from a large number of ready calibrated map CD-ROMs which QV can open directly. Map CDs can be obtained for many countries with a great degree of accuracy, e.g. Africa, Canada, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
  • Just by using the mouse you can create Waypoints, routes and tracks which are automatically stored in the database.
  • With the geographic names database you have a powerful tool to find places which are not marked at all on your map, for example, or all fountains within a radius of 10km.
  • You can print out any section of the map with all the data on any scale as you wish with your own network of parallels and meridians up to minute intervals.
  • Without cartographic knowledge you can calibrate a map which contains a grid of degrees of longitude and degrees of latitude.
  • As well as that maps support UTM, Swiss and French (IGN) grids. It also contains more than 60 map projections and more than 140 map facts.
  • User defined grids and data can be compiled.
  • Maps can be in BMP, PNG, TIFF, GIF, KAP or JPEG format. The maximum size is limited only by the working memory.
  • It is compatible with any GPS receiver which supports the Garmin protocol, with Lowrance, Eagle and Magellan equipment and in on-line mode with any NMEA compatible GPS receiver.
  • A graphical overview makes managing many maps easier.
  • The integrated QV X-plorer is a powerful tool similar to the Windows Explorer for managing all your data.
