In Tracks list, I have all tracks unchecked, so I did not expect any track to be displayed, however, the track that was visible last is still roaming my map.

Active Tracks vs Following Tracks

Once you select a track to FOLLOW, it becomes your ROUTE. When you ACTIVATE a Track, it becomes the Track file you will write to when you travel. So you can't have a track to FOLLOW and be ACTIVE at the same time. When you set a track to FOLLOW, PathAway automatically prepares another NEW track to r...

Active Tracks vs Following Tracks

I recorded a track and set it to FOLLOW Forward. At the first try for ACTIVATE I got an error because I already selected it to follow. Now I tried it again but disabled the FOLLOW before ACTIVATE. And with ACTIVATE it works. But now the track is not set to FOLLOW.

In order to "Follow" this track as your current route, you need to set the track to FOLLOW as your current "Route". You can do this is one of 2 ways. Opt...

Why PathAway on the iQue

One of the key points of Pathway is to allow you to use your own maps. It doesn't matter whether you've scanned paper maps, downloaded maps off the internet, or have digital maps on CD-ROM. PathAway provides tools to convert maps and calibrate them to the proper geographical coordinates. In fact, Pa...

Why PathAway on the iQue?

I have a Garmin iQue 3600, and it comes standard with software and maps. What benefits does PathAway have over the standard Garmin offering? The iQue comes with maps and software targeted mainly towards driving and points of interest. While the maps that come with the iQue are top notch, they do not...

Loading Maps onto Expansion Cards

To put maps on a memory or SD card, you can save the map to a file, then install them to the card using the "Palm Quick Install" or "Palm Installer" program, and choose the Expansion card as the destination. PathAway looks for maps in the /Palm/Launcher folder and the /Palm/PathAway folder of the ca...

Loading Maps onto Expansion Cards

Is it possible to load maps onto the additional Expansion card such as Memory Stick or SD card. When I choose "Send to Map to PalmOS via HotSync", it only installs the map to the main memory of my Palm Handheld. It would be great if I could load the maps into the additional memory as one map is 11M s...

Garmin Protocol on Tungsten T3

There is a known bug in the T3 for two-way communication. A workaround is to apply the following patch software, Unfortunately costs some money, but it is the only solution we have found for this so far. Hopefully PalmOne will fix this someday. Here is the link for the patch: http://www.handango.com...

Garmin Protocol on Tungsten T3

I'm trying to get Download data from my Garmin GPSmap176 to my Tungsten T3. I can connect to my Garmin. The GPS and T3 can have a 1 way conversation in NMEA mode for logging tracks, but in Garmin - Garmin mode for transferring points, tracks, etc I can't get the units to connect.
