Creating own maps

I'm trying Path Away on the free trial. I want to convert my paper book map to use on my Garmin iQue 3600. I scanned the papes I use most often but I can't figure out how to stitch them together. Can anyone give me some help with this?

Creating own maps

The best way to do this is to use a Photo or Image Editor like Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Picture It, PhotoSuite, or Paintshop Pro.
Create a very large blank image, then open each map image, copy the whole thing to the clipboard, then paste it into the blank map. Position it in the place you want it. Do the same with each map, placing them so their Longitude and Latitude lines match up. If you don't match the geographical coordinates up then the map will not calibrate correctly when you import it into PathAway Map Manager.

Also note, you don't necessarily need to stitch the maps together. You can import and calibrate each one and PathAway will automatically load the correct map as you travel. (ensure "Auto Select Map" option is on in preferences).
