Re: Export Database to PC
Thanks Jacques fo suggesting GPS Utility to do the transfer. I was not aware of that program and it worked perfectly the first time to transfer a track from PathAway 4 (.PDB) to Garmin MapSource (.GDB). I used the demo Toronto to Barry track and transferred it to the MetroGuide Canada map.
I am presently evaluating PathAway V4 and it seems very interesting. Treo 650 and Holux GPSlim236.

For Windows Mobile version you need to use the PathAway conversion utlities, PWDBConvert found in http://pathaway.com/convert.htm
You extract the databases directly from the Pocket PC. Other programs such as SoftMap and Touratech-QV have implemented this support as well.
Perhaps GPSUtility and GPSBabel will implement the Windows Mobile data conversion for PathAway.

The conversion utilities work for PalmOS as well.
Note, when you HotSync, all PathAway data files are backed up into your Palm Backup folder. (under the folder where you installed the Palm Desktop software.)
Get the files from there (Data files have a .pdb extension) to convert.
Also GPSBabel and GPSUtility both support conversion of PathAway for PalmOS.
