My favourite tool is flushit!
. But you can use OffFlush or FlushDA as well. Doing a soft reset helps also.
By preventing programs to start themselves after softreset, you can also save DBCache; this can be done by using e. g. CleanStart
. To estimate the use of CleaStart, you should start flushit! after warm reset, and inspect free DBCache and chunk values. And compare these numbers with those after soft reset...
Both of these programs are freeware. You can find payware for this purpose as well, usually with many more functions.
And be aware that third party launchers like zlauncher, system tools like mybd, and graffiti tools like tealscript eat quite a significant numer of DBCache. In CleanStart you can define profiles with different sets of activated tool applications for different purposes.
