Hi ,
I would like to know if there is a simple way to use Komoot maps
anyhow in PW. These maps are automatically downloaded to the Android
device by the Komoot app (Komoot Map,OSM,OCM,GR,GS) along a route
or as a complete region.
PW is much more better than the Komoot app , but Komoot Web site
offers a very simple and fast way to generate routes and provides fitting
maps.
Thank you
Regards
Robert
Komoot maps usable in PW ?
You can't import the Komoot maps, but the routes you create can be imported to PathAway via their "Export to GPS Device" option. This will download a GPX file that you can import and use in PathAway.
For route creation though, have you tried the new PathAway Route Designer? Now its much faster and easier to create routes right on your device.

I don't know the format they use but I would guess they're tile-based and may be the same format as PathAway since both use Google/OSM etc. Someone could likely write a converter fairly easily by just mimicking PathAway's folder and tile file naming format. PathAway caches its map tiles by default under the <Device Storage>/PWWebMaps folder.
