I would like to export tracks from my PDA to Google Earth or Ozi
I have used the following command line:
PWDBWMConvert.exe CopyFromDevice c:\mytracks
the resulting files are basically csv files with the extention .pwtrk
Those files are useless as is. How do I convert them in something more common like plt (oziexplorer) gpx (e.g. Google Earth) or other standard format. Or is there another way round to export Pathaway tracks?
By the way, my pwtrk file looks like this:
31.78345833,35.21792667,752.62240200,152328.28 14012007,,0,
31.78345833,35.21796833,752.62240200,152341.41 14012007,,0,
31.78353500,35.21793333,752.62240200,152353.53 14012007,,0,
31.78367333,35.21799667,752.62240200,152404.04 14012007,,0,
31.78383333,35.21800333,752.62240200,152418.18 14012007,,0,
31.78360333,35.21839000,752.62240200,152429.29 14012007,,0,
Track export to Google Earth and/or Oziexplorer

I shouldn't have to pay for something like TTQV in order to get the track/waypoints out of .cdb database from PDA..
I cannot use command-line utility...it's too complicated..The author should have finished by now a GUI utility for that..which can import ALL data, not only data from ROM (device) memory-databases ,like TTQV does
I think every user of Pathaway just wants an easy way of import/export the data in a common exchangeable format

PWDBWMConvert.exe is a not very practical "MS Windows+ActiveSync only" solution. It is much easier just to select the track in the PathAway track database and click on Menu/Database/Export... Then you can define a directory, where on the PocketPC the pwtrk file should be stored.
Then copy this file to the PC by whatever means (I take the SD card out and put it into the PC). GPSBabel can't handle these files. But because I needed GPX files I wrote a short contribution Perl script for the gpsPhoto project called pwtrk2gpx. Download it from http://gps2photo.cvs.sourceforge.net/*checkout*/gps2photo/gpsPhoto/contrib/pwtrk2gpx.pl?revision=1.2.
This command can convert pwtrk files to GPX track files.
Google Earth should be able to import GPX files directly but you can also use the just mentioned gpsPhoto program from http://www.carto.net/projects/photoTools/gpsPhoto/. It can insert the digital photos taken along the route into the KML/KMZ file too.
