PathAway GPS 5 - Express Edition

Pre-release Notes

This build has the functional equivalent of the Express Edition version of PathAway. Express Edition is a lighter version then the current Standard Edition for Windows Mobile. While the feature set is not finalized, the initial release will be Express Edition, with Standard and Professional Editions to follow. Please see the current PathAway Editions - Comparison Chart for details on what features are available in the various Editions of PathAway

- Added: Improved Google Earth KML Import/Export.
- Now PathAway Icon databases are online, so proper Icons can now be viewed in Google Earth. The Icon Mapping table is also editable in the file in C:\Data\PathAway\PWIconTable.csv
- Added: Support for HTML based notes. KML files imported with HTML Points of Interest will now be retained and viewable in PathAway. Graphics will also be viewable. As well, links inside HTML will launch Internet Browser.

5.21.02 - Jan 14 2010

- Improved: Import GPX with duplicate names now promptes and correctly overwrites or renames.
- Improved: Export GPX makes the "name" of the item the same as the chosen FileName.
- Improved: Sound Alarms now louder.
- Added: manual Elevation Correction amount to Tools->Preferences->Tracking dialog.

- Fixed: Dash Select problem with overlapping items.
- Fixed: Occasionally current location set to wrong coords when a fix is lost.

- Added support for localized numbers (ie. numbers with commas for decimal places)
- Improved Tracking. Records on 3D fix only. Min distance threshold now 3M
- GPS Fix/Lost Alarm fixed. Now alerts after 10 seconds of signal loss, then every 30 seconds afterwards. (used to be only the first 10 seconds)

- Added: Tutorial Data: Now automatically installs Track, Route, and Data files. These files are placed in the "C:\Data\PathAway\Import" folder. When importable data files are placed there, then PathAway will automatically import them on startup, and delete them afterwards.

- Fixed: Delete last point in list, Point still displayed. Delete again crashes.
