Preparing a
device for a clean Re-Install
When re-installing PathAway, you can install a new build over top of
an existing build and it should work fine and retain all of your data.
However, it is recommended that testing be started with a clean build.
To do this, follow these steps
- Uninstall the current app via Applications->App. Mgr.
- Open Tools->File mgr.
- On the main memory tab, Navigate to the PathAway folder.
- Delete all of the files with extension .pwf. This will remove
all preferences settings you have set. PathAway will startup using the
default settings.
- If you want to delete all of the PathAway data (Tracks, Routes, and
Points), then also delete the PathAwayDBV file. To delete data
on the storage cards, you would also need to find this file in the PathAway
folder.
- If you don't want maps to load, then delete the files with extension
.prc
