- Internet connectivity is required for Send and Receive location
via SMS.
- Send/Retrieve location via Http, and WebMaps, requires a Windows

Outlook. Receive SMS will work only if Pocket Outlook is installed.
- When updating versions of PathAway, you may need to reset
your device before installing. The PathAway SMS library (PWMsgRule.dll)
needs to be released before it can be replaced with an updated
version. |

Installation Instructions:
1. Read these instructions first. This version is a 15-day trial.
After which time you will need to return to PathAway.com
to purchase and receive the unlock key. For information on the latest
release, please read the Release Notes and
and FAQs on the PathAway
Support Forum.
Trial Restrictions:
- Program expires after 15 days of use.
- GPS Connection limited to 10 minutes per session.
- Remote Send and Receive limited to 5 transactions per session.
WebMaps Feature:
WebMaps is considered to be an experimental feature provided at
no extra charge. WebMaps downloads data from third-party Map Servers
so availability of these maps may change at any time without notice.
MuskokaTech provides no warranty or support of the quality of these
maps.
2. Read the System Requirements
to ensure PathAway will work with your devices.
3. Read and Accept the License Agreement.
4. Download and Install the Application.
If this is your first time installing, or you are doing a brand
new install, then run the PathAway Full
Installer. Once you have installed the program, you can
return to the download site to get regular updates. If you're just
updating a recent version of the Windows Mobile app, you can install
the Update Installer over your current installation of PathAway.
You can also update the application directly on your device by selecting
the appropriate CAB file.

To Download
- Select the above install link. Press Save to download the
application.
- In the file selector, choose your desktop as the destination
for the file.
To Install
- Ensure you are running ActiveSync and connected to your
Handheld device before running the Installer.
- Activate your Windows Desktop and run (Double click, or
right click and select "Open") the Install program.
- The PathAway PC Tools, Manual, and Readme shortcuts will
be added to your Windows PC Start Menu.
- The PathAway Executable will be placed in your Programs
List on the Start Menu of your Handheld.

5. Get Started
Now that you have the latest version of PathAway on your Handheld,
learn how to use it by reading the Users
Manual and checking out the PathAway
Support Forum.
6. Testing Remote Tracking Feature:
If you would like to test the http tracking feature, you can utilize
our test tracking server to send your location, then view the location
on a Web page on your PC.
To do this, set the send address to: http://pathaway.com/cgi-bin/locpost.cgi,
and format to PathAway. Format options should be set to "Owner
name" (owner name on your Pocket PC).
To see your location on a web page, on your PC, go to http://pathaway.com/findme/
and enter your Owner name. You will be shown the location you sent
on a Google Map.
